Who Will You Meet?

Want to meet some locals specific? Leave a note with your preferences! your host could be a high school student heading home after a 10 PM study session, a stay-at-home parent balancing life and family, or even a local business owner sharing insights over tea. If you're comfortable with locals using broken English or translation apps, you’ll have more opportunities to connect with special residents.

Step Into Local Life

Experience daily life of locals as if you were part of it. If invited, share a homemade meal with a local family, sip tea with a grandfather as he recalls stories from World War II, or use a translation app to listen to a grandmother’s cherished memories. You might even find yourself helping a child with English homework, discovering life’s little moments that bring people closer together.

A must-do for those who want to experience the real China

A must-do for those who want to experience the real China! I loved the slower pace, getting to know the people, and seeing daily life unfold. It was so much more rewarding than just visiting famous landmarks. The perfect way to connect with local culture.
